Long story short one of my friends has asked me to put together a "night light" for his son's room using some WS2812Bs and a Wemos D1 Mini, but I'm new to Arduino and having a slight problem working with some existing code as I'm still learning. The Wemos' D1 Mini's power status LED (soldered onto the board) remains on even when the addtional
I just received today some MAX3485 (instead of MAX485) tranceivers, because I read that this is needed for controllers with 3.3V levels which Wemos D1 apparently is. I connected it to the Wemos D1 mini with the following setup without any success: DI-> D4 RO-> D5 RE, DE (both) -> D3. and this simple example code:
Latching Push button on nano & Wemos D1 mini. Using Arduino Programming Questions. kaname08 June 18, 2021, 4:17pm 1. Hi all, I would like to interface my board with 1 push button. Starting from initial status = 0; if i press it once i want to see the value 1, two times the value 2 and so on, when i reach the maximum value, it has to restart
877 January 1, 2022, 1:51pm 1. So, been using Wemos D1 Minis for a while using core 2.6.3 and no issue. Recently got a new style Wemos D1 mini 4.0.0 and had troubles getting the Lolin 2.4 TFT shield working with it. I confirmed the blink sketch works, as do simple sketches needing no libraries. So, went down the rabbit hole of updating Arduino
D1 --> DC (can be change) Test the screen. You can test any examples available in TFT_eSPI or test my code which display an image. Convert an image to code. So what if you don't want to draw mercy (or any kind of support) :-) ? The image is saved inside bitmap.h, you need to convert your image into code and copy paste it inside the array.
A Wemos D1 mini looks like this. Most are cheap clones these days. ESP flasher: https://web.esphome.io/ Final result after adding WLAN creds: To test the install, the web tools include a serial log viewer - start flashing again, but select LOGS to see a live terminal (hit the D1 reset button to see from the start).
ESP8266 Wemos D1 mini nRF24L01+ #91072. Setting up a NRF24 (with 5V adapter) to an ESP8266 Wemos D1 mini. This test result is NOT ok. The NRF24 works fine with the same test (adapted) on an Arduino UNO. Have tried with different CE-PIN numbers. So, I don't suspect the hardware. The wemos d1 is an Arduino Uno-like wifi board based on ESP-8266EX. You can use the Arduino IDE, NodeMCU and there are other development environments available. Wemos D1 ESP8266 based board. There is a USB connector, note that its a micro type and you can use this and also OTA for programming. I used the USB cable, it was the easiest way. XjZ61X.
